This Privacy Policy outlines how Life Set Video Player ("the Application", "we", "our") handles user information and device permissions. The Application is developed as an offline-first, gesture-driven media player designed to play videos stored on your device or direct network streams requested by you.

2. Data Collection and Usage

We do not collect any personal data.

No User Accounts: You do not need to register an account or log in to use the Application.
No Remote Tracking or Analytics: We do not track your activity, your viewing habits, or your IP address.
No Data Sharing / Selling: Since we do not collect any user data, no data is shared with or sold to third parties, advertising networks, or data brokers.
Local Storage: All playback progress, bookmarks, favorites, PIN security for private folders, and user preferences are saved strictly locally on your device via standard Android SharedPreferences and local application storage.

3. Device Permissions and Why We Need Them

To provide media playback functionality, Life Set Player requests only the permissions strictly required to operate:

Storage / Media Access `READ_MEDIA_VIDEO`, `READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE`	Required to discover, read, and play video and subtitle files located in your device's media storage. Files are never uploaded or transmitted off your device.
Internet Access `INTERNET`, `ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE`	Only used when you manually provide a direct online video stream URL (e.g., HTTP, HLS, DASH, RTSP) to play network streams. No browsing history or personal data is collected.
Foreground Service `FOREGROUND_SERVICE`, `FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK`	Allows playback to continue seamlessly when playing audio in the background or running in Picture-in-Picture mode.
Notifications `POST_NOTIFICATIONS`	Used solely to show media transport controls (play, pause, seek) on the notification bar and optional local alerts (such as the sleep timer countdown).
Audio & Haptic Controls `MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS`, `VIBRATE`	Used for equalizer audio adjustments, loudness boost, and subtle haptic feedback for gesture controls (seek, lock, double-tap).

4. Third-Party Services

The Application does not include third-party advertising SDKs, behavioral analytics tracking (such as Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics), or user profiling tools.

5. Children's Privacy

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13, nor do we knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

All sensitive app data (such as PIN protection for private videos) is secured locally on your device. We do not transmit or store security credentials on any cloud infrastructure.
